OUTWORLD, qui faut-il croire? : Sorti comme vous le savez, il y a un peu plus de deux mois, le 13 novembre 2006 pour être précis, le premier album du groupe texan OUTWORLD s'est récemment fait démonter dans le magazine Hard N'Heavy... S.B recommandant à ses lecteurs d'écouter ce disque avec des boules Quiès, sans oublier de lui attribuer une note de 1,5 sur 5 ! Après la lecture de ces lignes, je me suis demandé comment, après avoir écouté son excellente démo, j'avais pu être assez stupide pour avancer 10 000 euros à ce "groupe qui en fait trop" (sic) afin qu'il puisse enregistrer son album. Sont-ils si nuls que ça, au point de placer "les sons (de claviers) les plus pourris de la terre..." (sic) ? Heureusement, une fameuse citation de Ted Nugent m'est revenue à l'esprit : "Si c''est trop fort pour vous, c'est que vous êtes trop vieux..." C'était donc ça, les musiciens d'OUTWORLD ne sont pas mauvais, ils jouent juste trop "fort", ils sont juste trop "bons" pour SB, dont j'ai d'ailleurs hâte d'entendre un jour les prouesses à la guitare, aux claviers, voire au chant... :-) Rusty Colley qui dirige une classe de 50 élèves est prêt à lui offrir quelques cours de rattrapage... :-) Trêve de plaisanteries, persuadé que ces gamins d'Houston ne sont pas des cancres et meritent plus que la moyenne, je ne saurai trop vous recommander de vous faire votre propre idée en consultant les liens ci-dessous... ensuite libre à vous de vous procurer l'album ou des boules Quiès... :-) Tout d'abord voici ce que John Petrucci de Dream Theater dit (en VO) de OUTWORLD et de son guitariste Rusty Cooley : "Thick guitar tones, unbelievable playing and aggressive metal/prog/melodic tunes.
